The following are obligations agreed upon by both the Breeder and Buyer for the sale transaction of the above mentioned dog.
1. As payment for said dog, buyer agrees to pay the Breeder the sum of $ ______. Payment in full is due before buyer takes possession of said dog.
Payment must be made by e transfer no later than 12 hours before puppy pick up.
2.The Breeder agrees, to the best of their knowledge, that the dog purchased by the Buyer is free from any communicable diseases and is of
sound body, stable temperament and is in good general health with first vaccinations and deworming. If the puppy displays any indication of poor health, you must notify the breeder by the 10th day after your purchase.
3. The breeder also guarantees this puppy to be free of genetic diseases that make the puppy unsuitable for the purpose of a “family pet” – that drastically reduces the quality of, or ends the life of the puppy – until it reaches the age of two years. The buyer understands that the following slight genetic defects are not considered life threatening and are therefore not covered: umbilical hernia, undescended testicles, underbite or overbite. The buyer understands that replacement options are only valid when health problems are attributed to a hereditary problem and not due to accident or contagious and/or other illness. The buyer understands that all guarantees expire two years from puppy’s date of birth.
4.If your puppy is very sick within 10 days, or has a congenital defect found by your veterinarian within 2 years, you will need to return the puppy to the breeder accompanied by the registration papers in order to qualify for a replacement puppy. You must obtain a written veterinary statement stating health risk. This must include a description of the symptoms supporting his /her opinion to validate this guarantee and must be signed by your vet. At this time all documentation will need to be forwarded to the breeder’s veterinarian and the breeder. Any veterinary bills incurred to diagnose or repair a problem will be the responsibility of the buyer unless arrangements have been made or approved prior to treatment. Failure to follow any of that stated above will render this contract null and void. Breeder then reserves the right to have said puppy checked and condition verified by her local vet. Puppy may be kept and a replacement puppy will be offered OR puppy may be returned and replacement puppy offered.
No money will be offered. Replacement puppy will be given when the next available pup, of equal value becomes available chosen by the breeder. All medical and shipping costs are the sole responsibility of the Buyer.
5. This puppy is sold strictly as a pet only. The buyer agrees that under no circumstances will the dog be used for breeding purposes. The buyer agrees to ensure said dog is not bred or allowed to produce a litter before they are altered. If these circumstances were to happen,
seller has the right to take back said dog and puppies at no expense.
6. The Buyer agrees to have said dog spayed or neutered before 14 months of age at their own expense.
7. Buyer agrees that if ownership of said dog is transferred, the non‐breeding contract must remain in effect, unless dog has been spayed or neutered.
8. Buyer agrees that it is their responsibility to familiarize themselves with the Pembroke Welsh Corgi breed, and understand the
nature of the breed and any medical conditions related to the breed.
9. If during the period of two weeks from transfer to its new home the puppy is deemed unsuitable for its situation and is in the same condition of health and well-being as at the time of transfer, it may be returned to the seller and the purchase price will be returned.
10. If, in the future, the puppy owner can no longer keep the puppy, and the owner cannot find a caring home for it, the puppy must be returned to the breeder. The dog should not be surrendered to a pound or shelter.
I, as buyer of puppy , have read and understand the terms of this contract. By signing, I agree to abide by the terms of this contract.
